- A retainer of $3,000 to $6,000, depending on length of engagement (3 or 6 months)
- A success fee equal to 2% of the total deal commission, paid only upon a completed deal

I am a naturalized citizen of Costa Rica. I first arrived (from the U.S.) in 2001 to broker a deal that sold one of the country’s premier private universities to a U.S. publicly-held education company.
In a former life, I practiced tax and corporate transactional law in the Carolinas. I also have extensive experience as a business valuation consultant and mergers and acquisitions advisor to companies in a wide variety of industries.
